Students:

After the University Hospital Center, the strike at the Faculty of Medicine was unanimously voted for by the students assembled in the great amphitheater of the New Faculty.

A short time later, more than a thousand of us joined the demonstration at Denfert-Rochereau.

The strike was at first decided on based on the three points of the UNEF and the SNESup in solidarity with our comrades. We are continuing it because we are directly touched. We were

clubbed by M. Grimaud’s CRS;
gassed by grenades used in wartime and whose suffocating, blinding, and even mortal characteristics we medical students can attest to;
for a certain number, dragged and imprisoned in commissariats when urgent medical care was needed. In the hospitals of the A[ssistance] P[ublique] the police are attempting to identify the wounded in order to sharpen the repression.

Such measures can only reinforce our determination and that of our teachers.
