THE latest CIS report provides a detailed account of the course of the black youth rebellion that shook South Africa’s townships last year. It also includes some information on the economic recession and mass unemployment that form the background to the uprising as well as a fair amount on British economic and military involvement in apartheid. It is well worth buying.
