Kieran Allen is Senior Lecturer in Sociology at UCD and author of numerous books including The Politics of James Connolly, Marx and the Alternative to Capitalism and, with Brian O’Boyle, Austerity Ireland.
Conor Kostick teaches medieval history at Trinity College and is the author of Revolution in Ireland and a number of other works including award winning children’s books.
Mary Smith is a retired research officer with the Crisis Pregnancy Agency and a socialist activist in Dublin.
Fergal McCluskey is the author of two highly acclaimed books on radical politics in Ulster, including most recently Tyrone and the Irish Revolution, 1912–23. He teaches history at Coláiste Feirste in Belfast.
Brian Kelly is Reader in History at Queens University, Belfast and author of Race, Class and Power in the Alabama Coalfields, 1908–1921, as well as many other studies on racism, slavery and related issues.
Dave Sherry is a socialist activist in Glasgow and author of Occupy! A Short History of Workers’ Occupations and Empire and Revolution.
Memet Uludag is a Turkish-Irish socialist in Dublin, actively involved with United Against Racism and the Irish Anti-War Movement. He writes regularly at minordetailsnews.net.
Ruairi Gallagher has a BA (Hons) in Irish History and Politics at the University of Ulster and is a socialist activist in Derry.
Andrew MacLaren lectured in Urban Geography at Trinity College Dublin and is Joint Director of the Centre for Urban and Regional Studies at TCD. He is the editor, with Sinéad Kelly, of Neoliberal urban policy and the transformation of the city: Reshaping Dublin.
Dave O’Farrell is Deputy Editor of Irish Marxist Review and a socialist activist in Dublin.
