Kieran Allen is a Lecturer in Sociology at UCD and author of numerous books including The Politics of James Connolly, Karl Marx and the Alternative to Capitalism and (with Brian O’Boyle) Austerity Ireland.
Michael Taft is Research Officer with UNITE the Union and author of Notes on the Front, a blog on political economy http://notesonthefront.typepad.com. He writes in his personal capacity.
Ailbhe Smyth is a social analyst, researcher and educator/trainer, a leading feminist and LGBT activist and Convenor of the People Before Profit Alliance.
Peadar O’Grady is a Consultant Child Psychiatrist with the HSE and actively engaged with Doctors for Choice Ireland.
John Molyneux is Editor of Irish Marxist Review and author of a number of books including Marxism and the Party, Rembrandt and Revolution and The Point is to Change It!.
Paul O’Brien writes on history, politics and literature and is author of Shelley and Revolutionary Ireland and The 1913 Lockout.
Madeleine Johansson is a socialist activist in Dublin.
