An archive of documents, essays, sources and other reference material focusing on the formative years of the Red Army 1918 through 1921. Supplemental material during the post-Russian Civil War period, including the Purges of the Red Army 1935-1937 and through 1945 will also be added as it becomes available. Included are indexes of the writings of Lenin and Trotsky as well as participants in the formation of the Red Army, it's leaders as well as scholarly and informative histories of the Army.
