Radical-Socialist Party of France

A party organised in 1901, but had been in existence since the eighties of the nineteenth century. Before the First World War (1914-18) it largely represented the interests of the petty and middle bourgeoisie. In the period between the first and second world wars the big bourgeoisie gained more influence in the party, whose leaders frequently headed the French Government.
