Citizens Alliance

A group of capitalists in Minneapolis that hired many private detectives and kept union and socialist activity in Minneapolis quiet through the early 1930's. They were eventually broken after the 1934 truck-driver's strike, when the Teamsters won the right to organize. For related material see also The Encyclopedia of Trotskyism On-Line (ETOL).
